I’m Fiona and I am the creative force behind Meadowsweet Flowers, a unique floral design and styling studio that uses locally, grown flowers to create distinctive breath-taking floral designs. 

Based in the beautiful and inspiring countryside setting of Croom, Co. Limerick, we pride ourselves on working with nature to grow our own flowers in an organic and sustainable way. In return, nature rewards us with a bountiful supply of seasonal and scented flowers, foliage, twigs, berries, fruit, moss, cones, and many other gifts. Incorporating these elements into my work, not only elevates the design, but also evokes a sense of time and place and showcases nature in all her glory.  Outside of the main growing season (November to March) or by request I supplement these offerings with premium blooms from the Dutch flower market. 

As well as being trained by some of the best floral design educators in the business, I have a degree in Fine Art & Design from the Limerick College of Art & Design and I now put that creative background to excellent use when designing with flowers. My style of floristry is heavily inspired by the garden resulting in designs that are relaxed and exude old world romantic charm and natural elegance.   

My greatest passion lies in designing bespoke wedding flowers for couples throughout Ireland. I recognise that as a couple you are unique and that it is important for me to get to know you and to connect with your story.
